Kentuckians for the Commonwealth Host Training in Harlan County, KY

Kentuckians for the Commonwealth hosted a great training in Harlan, KY on July 27th. The training was attended by two local KFTC members, several KFTC and Appalachian Voices staff, and seven other community members. We were thrilled to reach out to new folks we hadn’t met before.

We tested several spots in the Catrons Creek community. Participants learned to test streams for several indictors of water pollution, and went home with their own testing equipment.

Check out the local coverage in the Harlan paper.
